What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and provide information to website operators.
Cookies We Use
We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sessionid |
Session management — keeps you logged in and maintains your cart | 2 weeks |
csrftoken |
Security — protects against cross-site request forgery attacks | 1 year |
django_language |
Language preference — remembers your chosen language | 1 year |
cookie_consent |
Remembers that you acknowledged this cookie notice | 1 year |
Third-Party Cookies
We do not set any third-party cookies. Our own payment system at invoices.liberation.services, which keeps payment data encrypted and sees blockchain transactions only for the addresses it issues, may set cookies on its own domain when you open a payment page, for security and to remember your display preference. BTCPay Server, the software behind Bitcoin on-chain, Monero and Zcash payments, may do the same on its own payment page. An older invoice may open on an outside payment processor's own checkout page, whose cookies that processor's own cookie policy governs.
Managing Cookies
Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, disabling them may prevent the website from functioning correctly (you won't be able to log in or maintain a shopping cart). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
